Triathlon Canada Seeks Nominations for 2017 William J. Hallett Award

The governing body for triathlon in Canada is seeking nominations from the Triathlon Canada Nation to recognize a Significant Contributor/Volunteer of the Year Award for 2017.

Created in 2012 to honour the outstanding commitment and leadership from Triathlon Canada’s longest-standing president, Bill Hallett, the William J. Hallett Award recognizes an individual who may have made a positive impact across the country, while contributing in a variety of functions within the Triathlon Canada Nation including: Board or committee member, coach, official, administrator, patron, media (journalist/broadcaster) and/or financial contributor.

Consideration will be given to those who demonstrate quality involvement, leadership, innovation and types of contributions.

All Nomination Forms must be submitted to by January 24. Nomination forms must include an endorsement by the Provincial Sport Organization where the recipient resides.

Triathlon Canada will announce the 2017 winner in February.
