NOTICE: The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect all regions in Canada. Some events are still working to offer racing opportunities in compliance with the new return to sport protocols as part of the 2020 season. With information changing rapidly, please visit the event websites for current updates on status. We are unfortunately unable to offer 2021 age group world championship qualification spots as part of the 2020 event season.
Things to consider:
- Stay local – continue to #Triathathome
- Be informed – review/ask for COVID-19 response plans for any event you register for
- Choose Sanctioned – sanctioned events are reviewed, approved and insured by your provincial sport organization
A word to our community, please be kind to our Race Organizers (and all the others that are trying to work together to keep our sport afloat during this difficult time).
Our race organizers are on the front lines right now. They are a small group of highly dedicated people that create amazing opportunities for Canadians to engage in this sport. The top priority is keeping everyone safe. Many of our Race Directors are having to make the difficult but right call to cancel or reschedule their events while the risk remains high but know that these decisions are not made lightly and are a devastating loss to their business. It’s important we come together as a community to support these phenomenal people during this difficult time, so we are able to race in the future as soon as this health crisis passes.
