Charity Entry Program
What is the Charity Entry Program?
The charity entry program provides a way for athletes to join Age Group Team Canada and compete in World Championship events around the world. The Age Group World Championship Team is primarily selected via a qualification-only model. This means that athletes must race at designated qualification events across the country and place within a qualification spot or roll-down spot in order to secure a place on the team.
The Charity Entry Program consists of a limited number of spots made available for purchase that also include a fundraising component to give back to the sport of triathlon in Canada. Availability of spots is confirmed after the qualification season based on available space in each discipline, gender and age category. The Charity Entry Program is the ONLY mechanism to join Age Group Team Canada without qualification.
For more information and eligibility requirements for the Charity Entry Program, click here.
To express your interest in applying for a Charity Entry Spot, email Community Programs Manager, Ella Calder ()
