Triathlon Canada Takes Flight with WestJet – Triathlon Canada Nation to Benefit from Flight Discounts for 2023 Domestic Events

VICTORIA—Canada’s age group and high-performance triathletes will have the opportunity to fly to start lines at discounted rates, thanks to a new partnership struck with WestJet Airlines.

Triathlon Canada members will be able to take advantage of discounted airfares for 2023 Canadian Domestic events occurring between June 18th and September 17th, 2023 (full list below).

“It is important for Triathlon Canada to develop partnerships with organizations who believe in the power of sport while also reducing the costs where we can for our members to swim, bike and run,” said Joe Morissette, chief executive officer, Triathlon Canada. “We are happy to welcome a company who is committed to not only supporting our high-performance athletes, but to encouraging all Canadians to get active by participating in triathlons at all levels.”

WestJet is offering participants attending Triathlon Canada events 5% off their Econo and 10% off EconoFlex and Premium fares for travel within Canada and 2% off Econo, 5% off EconoFlex and 10% off Premium base fares for guests travelling Trans-border.

Discounts are based on the fares posted on WestJet’s website at the time of the booking. Triathlon Canada and WestJet hope this becomes a standard service to the Canadian Triathlon community for the foreseeable future.
