Triathlon Canada will host a TrainingPeaks University Seminar on the heels of the Ironman 70.3, June 3-4 at Victoria’s Pacific Institute of Sport Excellence (PISE).
TrainingPeaks, a global leader in providing smart and effective digital training solutions for athletes and coaches, will provide all of Canada’s community and competitive triathlon coaches the opportunity to gain valuable insights from the endurance experts who will lead the two-day seminar on how to use TrainingPeaks more effectively. Sessions will be held from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day.
At TrainingPeaks University, coaches will receive professional development on how to efficiently navigate the TrainingPeaks platform, while mastering crucial training metrics and learning how to grow their coaching business. Unlocking the “Hidden Secrets of TrainingPeaks, the comprehensive coaching sessions will also include the following topics:
- setting up efficient workflows to save valuable time;
- utilizing workout libraries;
- best practices for planning and creating workouts;
- how to precisely analyze power, heart rate, pace, and other crucial data;
- utilizing Training Stress Score (TSS), the Performance Management Chart, and Dashboard Charts to better inform your planning.
All registered Triathlon Canada coaches will receive 3 Personal Development points towards their coaching certification maintenance.
