Marc-Antoine Christin joined Triathlon Canada in 2018 as the assistant coach of the National Performance Centre where he is focused on providing additional coaching leadership in an effort to achieve the organization’s performance goals through the development pathway.
A kinesiology graduate, Marc-Antoine has been coaching triathlon in a variety of roles at the club and provincial level with Triathlon Quebec over the last five years where he helped guide developing athletes to leading performances at national and international competitions. Marc-Antoine was the lead coach for Triathlon Canada at the CAMTRI Junior Championships in Magog, Que.
Working alongside head coach, Jono Hall, Marc-Antoine provides additional coaching support for the National Performance Centre in Victoria, assisting in providing the leadership and guidance to a growing pool of athletes. In addition, he is responsible for helping to bridge the athlete’s progression through the pathway while working with the provincial sport organizations to ensure a strong long-term athlete development model.
