Prior to establishing Juniper Consulting, Joy worked in a variety of roles including: municipal recreation director; operations manager for the BC Winter Games; a manager in the public and non-profit sectors; and as a project leader for the Office of the Auditor General of BC. Joy holds a Masters of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Victoria. She also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Science from the University of Western Australia where she studied recreation and sport management as a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar.
