VICTORIA—Triathlon Canada and Triathlon British Columbia are working to redistribute eight age group qualifying spots (per age group/gender) for the 2019 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final following the cancellation of two major events in British Columbia this past weekend due to poor air quality as a result of the forest fires in the region.

Race officials plan to go ahead with Sunday’s planned schedule providing the air quality improves.
