Shawn joined Triathlon Canada’s Board in 2019 after serving as president of Triathlon Saskatchewan’s Board of Directors since 2015.
Holding a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology), Shawn currently works for a private real estate investment fund and has oversight of all financing activity in Western Canada. Previously, he worked on the senior leadership team with a top tier U Sports varsity athletic program, and as the North American leader for a technology-based health and wellness benefits provider.
As a private business consultant, he has worked with numerous not-for-profit organizations and boards focusing financial management and transitioning from an operational to governance framework. Shawn continues to sit as the vice chair on the Mortgage Appeals and Access Transit Boards representing the City of Saskatoon Mayor’s Office.
In his spare time Shawn is pursuing a degree in law.
