Formerly a Chief Financial Officer  at Alberta Blue Cross and President & CEO at Western Life, Dominique Grégoire is a seasoned executive leader in businesses of various sizes, including large and complex organizations. Dominique has served on non-profit and corporate boards, and is well versed in best practices for strategy, risk management, change management and governance. Dominique was elected to the Calgary Co-op Board in April 2021 and recently completed her term on the Board of Governors at the University of Alberta where she chaired the Audit Committee and served on the HR Committee. Dominique was also nominated for a position on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Olympic Committee in 2021.

A graduate from McGill University, Dominique began her career with KMPG in Montreal. She spent three years in their Paris office focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Fully bilingual in French and English, Dominique is a CPA, CA, and recently completed the Directors’ Program from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D).

Dominique is very passionate about sports, and enjoys road cycling, golfing and both cross-country and downhill skiing.
