Ashley joined Triathlon Canada in 2023.
Ashley holds a Bachelors of Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Juris Doctor in Law from Bond University. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and holds an ICD.D designation. Now, she is legal counsel and a senior executive in her family’s small business.
Ashley has always maintained an active volunteering lifestyle and has have taken various roles as Chair, President, Project Manager and Director of non-profit organizations, teams and organizing committees of associations and national level competitions both within Canada and international.
Ashley started on a not-for-profit board in Australia (a rowing club) over 14 years ago and has been growing her resume of directorship in private and not-for-profit boards ever since. Her focus is on providing working value to growing or transitioning organization by assisting in governance, risk management and strategic direction. For many years, she sat on the Board of Badminton Canada and chaired their National Officials Committee.
She is an international umpire in Badminton and has a working ability in French.
To assist in her board work and to fully understand the drivers of a triathlete Ashley has registered for her first triathlon in 2024!
